Over the years, bounce houses have been a very popular activity for children. This was especially true during the pandemic period when parents were desperate to find something that would entertain their children at home.
We are often asked which bounce house would be best for my family.
The minimum age for our bounce houses is 3 years. However, they can be used up to 13 years of age. There are many sizes of bounce houses that suit kids of all ages.
Children Aged 3-5 Years Old
Children aged 3-5 will benefit from a smaller bounce house (8ft x8ft). Standard features include a basketball hoops and safety nets. Around this age, children will begin to learn and develop basic gross motor skills. The bounce house helps them to gain confidence in jumping, climbing and crawling, as well as throwing (basketball hoops and balls).
Ages 6-10 Years Old
Children aged 6-10 will need something more challenging and larger. Our larger bounce houses are perfect for this. These bounce houses have a size between 16ft and 13ft which means they require a bigger space to be inflated. These are popular with families and used at parties due to the large number of children they can accommodate. Multi-players will love these!
Additional features can be added to the bounce area for more fun. Features include obstacles, tunnels and ball pits. Climbing walls, darts games, double or triple slides, and climbing walls are also included.
These features help kids develop their problem-solving skills. The kids are more accurate in running and throwing, and they can hone their skills by using the obstacle courses, tunnels, ball pits and climbing walls.
