Last week we asked what you think is behind the extreme weather that has been sweeping the world over the past several weeks, the results are in and they certainly surprised us.

The Climate Change debate has been hotly debated across thousands of forums for the past decade.

We have been writing a lot about the heat lately and the sky-rocketing temperatures around Australia. There have also been countless storms and reports of frigid temperatures in the U.S and the U.K.

So we put the questions to you; What do you think is causing the current extreme weather?

I am a believer in climate change, I wouldn’t say I have done extensive research but I have looked at the evidence and in my opinion climate change is a real phenomenon.

Plus NASA has a whole website dedicated to Climate Change and if NASA says it is real, I don’t have the knowledge to disagree.

However, not all of you agree with me, in fact 50 per cent of you believe that the latest extreme weather is due to a natural weather cycle.

Now here is the real kicker, 28 per cent of those who voted believe that Aliens are causing the latest extreme weather.

On the other hand they could have just ticked the box so we had to write a story about Brisbane residents blaming aliens or Extra Terrestrials for the heat.

Only 22 per cent agree with me and believe that climate change is causing the fluctuations in our weather.

What do you think about the results?
