Celebrate in style at these great events across the Greater Brisbane area!

1. Caxton Street Seafood and Wine festival

This festival will celebrate the city’s famous foodie culture, with over 20 outlets providing great seafood selections and platters and Queensland wines from local wineries.

2. Valley Fiesta- 22 to 24 November

Presented by Brisbane City Council in partnership with over 40 local venues, Valley Fiesta is Brisbane’s biggest street party. The festival includes a range of artists and events. This year’s headliner is indie band Architecture in Helsinki.

3. Teneriffe festival

This Festival incorporates a rich program of events, from street markets, concerts and historical displays. Several of Teneriffe’s main streets are closed, offering visitors a magnificent opportunity to discover and celebrate the best that the suburb has to offer. The Teneriffe Festival attracts an audience of approximately 30,000 people across all of its events.

4. Laneway festival- 31 January 2014

Quality food, unmatched locations, and an impressive exhibition of local art. This annual festival is scheduled for a laneway in Brisbane featuring artists Adalita, frightened rabbit, haim, Jamie xx and unknown mortal orchestra to name a few.

5. Sherwood festival- 8 November 2013

The Sherwood Community Festival (SCF) is an annual community based street festival held in November each year between the railway and Oxley Road in Sherwood. The festival has clowns, face painting, rides, animal farm and laser tag.
