Calamvale Park

This is one of Brisbane’s newest and most exciting parks for kids of all ages. It includes an award winning tree top sky walk, huge enclosed slide, dual flying fox and playground equipment. It also has barbeques, enclosed dog park and interconnecting bike paths.

Location: Between Formby and Ormskirk Streets


Robelle Domain- Springfield Lakes

The parklands in Springfield Lakes is great for kids, the playground here has an interactive electronic playground, swings and slides, with possibly the most exciting summer feature; a water park! The water park is open from 9am to 4pm daily and includes a 700 litre tipping bucket and jet sprays.

Location: On Southern Cross Circuit near Orion, Springfield Central


Kalinga Park

Cubby houses and tree houses always work a treat with children. Kalinga has timber tree house structures with stairs, slides, bridges and climbing walls. It also has other playground equipment, including swings, a sandpit and a great bike track that simulates a mini road with traffic signs.

Location: Off Diggers Drive, Clayfield


Rocks Riverside Park

Rocks Riverside offers a place to cool off in summer, however this waterpark is more suitable for toddlers. This park also includes large sandpits, a flying fox, climbing nets, bike paths and swings for all ages. Rocks Riverside Park also offers a Liberty Swing for children in wheelchairs, but the key must be obtained from the Jamboree Ward Office, phone (07) 3407 7000.

Capalaba Regional Park

This is an all-abilities playground surrounded by large lagoons and grassy ovals. There are giant climbing nets, a flying fox, swings, sandpits, mounds with inbuilt slides and ramps and forts with ramps and bridges. This playground also has a liberty swing, please contact the local ward office as it may require a key.
