Westfield North lakes will unveil its new lifestyle precinct tomorrow, completing the centre’s $170 million redevelopment.

More than 60 home, lifestyle and fashion retailers will open their doors, including IKEA, Kmart, JB Hi-Fi, Rebel Sport and Cotton On Mega.

“We are thrilled to unveil the final stage of the Westfield North Lakes expansion,” says centre manager Chris Barton, “cementing its role as a convenient, one-stop-shop for our customers, now housing even more of their favourite Australian brands and global retailers.”

Bed Bath N’ Table, Hallenstein Brothers, Kathmandu and Sportsgirl will also be opening tomorrow.

The weekend’s celebrations will start with an appearance by Shaynna Blaze of Selling Houses Australia, who’ll be hosting an exclusive interior design workshop and signing her book, Design with Colour & Style, from 11am to 12:30pm on Thursday 17 November.

Rugby league legend Gorden Tallis will make an appearance and take selfies with shoppers from 10am to 11am on Friday 18 November.

The Gourmet Poppies (Will Stewart and Steve Flood), winners of My Kitchen Rules in 2015, will host cooking demonstrations and sign copies of their book, Will & Steve: Home Cook, Aspiring Chef, from 11am to 12:30pm and 1pm to 2:30pm on Sunday 20 November.

Other workshops and key activities throughout the weekend will include a dance and didgeridoo performance with Indigenous smoking ceremony, free pilates classes, a Cork & Chroma session that’ll give shoppers a chance to paint with acrylic on canvas while sipping wine, an Instagram workshop with Westfield stylist Annabel Falco, a Pimp Your Sneakers workshop, a Kids LEGO immersive zone and more.
