Tom Hanks and Ellen DeGeneres are two titans of showbiz — but to a lot of kids, they’re just Woody and Dory.

So, naturally, when Hanks appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote his new film, Sully, the topic of Pixar movies came up.

Hanks revealed that Toy Story 4 is in production, and told a story about how random parents who run into him in public often introduce their children to him as Woody.

Hanks then challenged DeGeneres to a ‘Pixar-Off’, and asked the audience to close their eyes and listen to the duo’s voices as they riffed off each other in character.

Not only is it a fun exchange (check it out in the clip above), but it might have just given Pixar an idea for a Toy Story / Finding Dory crossover…

Sully is in cinemas now.
