We should all listen to airline safety instructions — but, if we’re being honest, most of us tune out and ignore them altogether.

In a bid to combat the indifference of frequent flyers who have heard it all before, Southwest Airlines encourage their flight attendants to grab people’s attention by making the announcements fun and funny.

One of those attendants, Zach Haumesser, ensures passengers remain “vewwy, vewwy quiet” during his announcements by delivering them in the voices of nearly a dozen characters from the Looney Tunes.

The wannabe Mel Blanc impersonated Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Porky Pig, Sylvester the Cat, Tweety Bird, Pepe Le Pew and the Tasmanian Devil as the plane prepared to touch down, and even gave a shout-out to the Utah Valley University men’s soccer team (who were on the plane) in the voice of Bugs Bunny.

Haumesser’s routine doesn’t just get the passengers’ attention — it’s racked up almost two million views on YouTube, after co-worker Jordy Elizabeth captured it on video.
