This, friends, is why you don’t play Pokémon Go and drive.

A Baltimore man is making international headlines after driving his SUV straight into a parked police car while playing — of course — Pokémon Go.

Nobody was hurt in the incident, and the driver immediately stepped out of his vehicle and showed police officers his phone, confessing that he was distracted by the game.

“That’s what I get for playing this dumba** game,” he said.

Prosecutors are reportedly considering pressing charges against the driver.

The crash will no doubt inspire a fresh wave of ‘think pieces’ criticising Pokémon Go, but let’s be honest — if it wasn’t tiny pocket monsters, the driver probably would have been distracted by a text message, or some other mobile app.

You can watch the clip above — it’s a funny video, but seriously, don’t catch and drive, guys.
