If you’re having a ruff Monday, this will help.

Over 800 corgis met up at Ocean Beach in San Francisco last weekend for the Corgi Con, a bi-annual event featuring corgi races and a corgi costume contest.

Hundreds of corgis were in attendance (not the Queen’s, sadly, although Her Majesty was represented by a cardboard cut-out), and one corgi-crazy couple even got engaged at the event.

“You don’t have to have a corgi to come out,” founder Cynthia Lee told ABC News. “You just have to have a love of corgis.”

Proceeds from sales of corgi merch at the event go to two rescue organisations, Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue and Corgi Aid.

The next Corgi Con will be held in October.
