It was only a matter of time before James Corden took his popular Carpool Karaoke segment to Broadway.
The talented host of The Late Late Show is no stranger to Broadway — he actually won a Tony award for his performance in One Man, Two Guvnors in 2012, and he’s been named as the host of this year’s Tony awards show.
To promote his Tony hosting gig, Corden rounded up some of the biggest names on Broadway for Carpool Karaoke. Lin-Manuel Miranda — the seemingly ubiquitous creator of Broadway sensation Hamilton — rides shotgun, naturally, while six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald, Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s Jane Krakowski are in the backseat.
On their way to Beacon Theatre, the quartet belt out tunes from Hamilton, Rent, The Jersey Boys and Les Miserables.
