Apparently that little indie film that was released over Christmas, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, did well enough to merit a sequel. Good on them!

OK, so pretty much every moviegoer alive already knew that Star Wars: Episode VIII was coming, but now we have our first glimpse at footage from the movie, as well as an updated cast list.

The exceedingly brief footage, which Disney shared this morning, picks up right where The Force Awakens left off, so if you’re the one person who hasn’t seen that movie yet, don’t watch the clip!

The new cast additions announced this morning include Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro, long rumoured for a part in the film, as well as Oscar nominee Laura Dern and relative unknown Kelly Marie Tran.

All the major cast members from Star Wars: The Force Awakens will return, except for… well, you’ll know who’s not coming back if you’ve seen the movie.

Star Wars: Episode VIII, directed by Rian Johnson (Looper, Brick, Breaking Bad), will be released on 15 December 2017.
