Police are looking for two men who allegedly kidnapped a man from his home and forced him to help them rob a Gold Coast golf clubhouse.

Police are looking for two men who dragged a man from his home, forced him to gain entry to a Gold Coast golf clubhouse so they could rob it then bundled him into the boot of his car.

It’s alleged the balaclava-clad men went inside a Helensvale home around 9.40pm (AEST) on Thursday, where they struck a 60-year-old man with a baseball bat.

The pair, who also intimated they had a gun, then forced him to go to a nearby golf club on Country Club Drive and gain entry.

The men stole cash from the club then forced their victim into the boot of his own car before dumping him a short distance away, police said.

The pair, who also took the 60-year-old’s wallet and phone, drove off in a stolen white Hyundai Sonata with Queensland registration 515HEY.

The injured man was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with cuts and abrasions to his head and torso.

Police are urging anyone with information on the incident to contact them.
