Three men are dead after their vehicle collided with a truck in central Queensland.
The men, aged 56, 53 and 21, were travelling on the Capricorn Highway at Stanwell, south west of Rockhampton, when their four-wheel drive crashed into a fuel tanker.
Their vehicle reportedly rolled several times.
A stretch of the highway remained closed as forensic investigators were called in on Thursday night.
The site of the crash was a notorious trouble spot, a local resident told The Courier-Mail.
“There are accidents here with trucks and other vehicles going off the road all the time,” she said.
