A Sunshine Coast man accused of indecently assaulting women at his massage stall is facing additional charges after more alleged victims came forward.

An elderly Queensland masseur will face six further charges in court after more women came forward with allegations of indecent assault.

The 80-year-old had already been charged with rape and two counts of sexual assault, in relation to incidents that took place at his stall at the Sunshine Coast farmers’ market in June 2011 and August this year.

Last week, detectives appealed for former customers to come forward if they believed they had been assaulted during the course of their massage.

Police have now investigated six incidents, separate to his initial charges.

The man will face the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on September 24, charged with one count of rape and eight counts of indecent assault.
