Rocker Rod Stewart will perform hits from his four-decade long career Down Under in 2015.

Wake up Maggie, Rod the Mod is coming back to Australia.

Frontier Touring are bringing rocker Rod Stewart and his Hits tour Down Under for nine concerts across the country and over to New Zealand, including a gig in Dunedin, in 2015.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to Australia and New Zealand next year,” said Stewart, who was last in the country in 2012.

“The audiences are some of the best in the world and I’m looking forward to being at my most Scottish for my first ever concert in Dunedin.”

Stewart will sing hits from his four decades as a rocker such as Maggie May, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy and You Wear It Well for his aptly named tour.

He will also be supported by Aussie rock legend James Reyne on the Australian leg of the tour.
