Police are preparing a report for the coroner after a man’s body, possibly that of a missing 73-year-old, was found in a reserve area on the Gold Coast.

A report is being prepared for the Queensland coroner after a man’s body was found on the Gold Coast.

Police say the body was found about 5.30pm (AEST) on Thursday in a reserve area off Robina Town Centre Drive in the Gold Coast suburb of Robina.

The death isn’t suspicious but a report is being prepared for the coroner, police say.

A police statement said officers were trying to determine whether the body was that of 73-year-old Ronald Bergen, who went missing in the area earlier this month.
