A Brisbane man who went outside to investigate why his power had gone off has been ambushed, bashed and robbed by two teenage home invaders.
A Brisbane man has been bashed with a chair after he was ambushed by two teenagers who forced their way into his home.
Police say two teens cut the power to the man’s Heathwood home on Thursday night.
When he went outside to investigate, they forced their way in through glass patio doors, attacked the man with a chair, and fled with laptop computers and a mobile phone.
Police found the alleged offenders a short time later.
A 17-year-old youth will face the Richlands Magistrates Court on Friday, charged with armed robbery. A boy, 16, will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
