A Queensland man will appear in court on an attempted murder charge after allegedly pulling a knife on another man during an argument.

A Queensland man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another man in the groin during an argument.

Police said the men began arguing on an intersection in Logan Central, south of Brisbane, on Thursday afternoon when one pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while a 22-year-old was charged with one count of attempted murder.

He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday.
