Police are hunting for two armed men who broke into a Sunshine Coast home and forced the occupants to drive to an ATM for cash.

A Queensland man and woman were kidnapped and driven to an ATM at gunpoint where they were forced to withdraw cash.

A 31-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were disturbed by two men armed with a gun and a crowbar at their Yaroomba house on the Sunshine Coast just after 10pm on Saturday night, police said.

The robbers searched the home and assaulted the 31-year-old man before forcing him and the woman to drive to a nearby ATM and withdraw cash.

The pair were taken back to the house and their mobile phones were stolen before the robbers escaped in a blue vehicle.
