A couple have been extradited from Queensland to face an Adelaide court over a crime allegedly committed with fugitive Rodney Clavell.

Two people are due to appear in an Adelaide court accused of being involved in a home invasion with Rodney Clavell while he was on the run, shortly before he shot himself during a siege.

The man, 43, and the woman, 42, of no fixed abode, were extradited from Queensland late on Wednesday after being arrested in Mount Isa on June 14.

They are charged with aggravated robbery and serious criminal trespass in late May, an incident which police say also involved Clavell.

The 46-year-old former prison guard and prisoner shot himself dead after a 13-hour siege in an Adelaide inner-city brothel on June 6.

The man and woman are due to appear in the Adelaide magistrates court on Thursday.

On May 20, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Clavell, who had a long criminal history, over firearm matters.

After his death, police said that while Clavell was on the run he was believed to have been involved in a number of offences, including assaulting a woman while armed with a shotgun on May 25 and stealing her car.
