Australia will line up against Germany yet again in the opening round of the 2015 Fed Cup.

Australia will face Germany for the third time in four years in a tricky first round 2015 Fed Cup encounter from February 7-8.

The Germans get home advantage this time after travelling to Brisbane in April where they beat Australia 3-1 in this year’s semi-finals.

Germany goes to the Czech Republic for this year’s final in November.

Australia’s Fed Cup captain Alicia Molik said she wasn’t fazed by the tough draw.

“We are excited to play Germany again and hopefully get some revenge,” Molik said.

“I felt like we were so close in the last tie and this is another opportunity.

“We’ve enjoyed success playing Germany in Germany in the past, so we’ll go out and play our best and hope we can cause an upset again.”

Australia and Germany have met 13 times in Fed Cup, with Australia holding an 8-5 advantage.

Last year’s titleholders Italy will host France in the first round of the 2015 Fed Cup.
