English singer-songwriter Passenger has announced he will tour Australia and New Zealand in the summer.

English singer-songwriter, Passenger, has announced Australian and New Zealand tour dates.

Passenger, aka Michael Rosenberg, will tour music from his new album Whispers which will be released on June 6.

The singer had big success in the UK and Europe in 2012 and 2013, and came to prominence in Australia after a support slot on Ed Sheeran’s tour last year.

After the Sheeran tour, his single Let her Go (which had only managed to reach No.90 in the ARIA charts in March 2012) spent five weeks at No.1.

He’s now amassed 6.5 million single sales globally, No. 1 singles in 21 countries, numerous top 10 album chart positions and 1.2 million album sales.

He recently released Heart’s On Fire, his first single off his sixth studio album, Whispers.

Tickets for Passenger’s Australian and New Zealand tour go on sale on May 30.
