Gold Coast have suffered another blow ahead of Friday night’s NRL clash with Brisbane, ruling out lock Ash Harrison with concussion.
Still reeling from co-captain Greg Bird’s dangerous throw charge, the Titans had to overlook Harrison after he failed to recover from a head knock in last round’s 40-18 thrashing at the hands of South Sydney.
A replacement will be named on Thursday.
Gold Coast are also sweating on halves Albert Kelly (hamstring) and Aidan Sezer (ankle) after they battled through training this week.
William Zillman has been named in the centres but has trained at five-eighth for Sezer.
Titans coach John Cartwright cut Ryan James and Matt Srama after the last round loss, with Matt White, Paul Carter (both suspension) and veteran Luke Bailey (injury) returning to the bench along with Cody Nelson.
