A woman was stabbed in the chest as she tried to stop her car from being vandalised outside her home north of Brisbane.
The 48-year-old victim remains in a serious condition after she confronted a man and a woman on Saturday night.
She was stabbed in the chest and sustained a head injury as she attended to her car, parked on the driveway of her Deception Bay house.
A man, 33, and a woman, 29, have both been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and wilful damage.
“It’s unclear whether she knew these two people,” a Queensland police spokeswoman told AAP.
They are both due to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court on Monday.
