Queensland police are appealing for information about the hit-and-run death of an academic who was riding his bike in the Lockyer Valley on Anzac day.
More than 50 bike riders will be part of a memorial service for a University of Queensland academic killed in a hit-and-run accident two weeks ago.
The university is holding the service for Associate Professor Martin Pearson on Thursday morning, where the cyclists will ride around the Gatton campus.
Police are still searching for the car that hit and killed Prof Pearson when he was riding his bike in the Lockyer Valley on Anzac Day.
