Ambulance officer Sidney Cramp is the LNP’s chosen candidate to take on the Palmer United Party’s state leader at the next Queensland poll.
The Liberal National Party has chosen an ambulance officer to take on the Palmer United Party’s Queensland leader at the next state election.
The LNP has preselected Sidney Cramp to run against incumbent Alex Douglas in the Gold Coast hinterland seat of Gaven.
Dr Douglas quit the LNP to become an independent before joining Clive Palmer’s party in April last year.
LNP state director Brad Henderson said Mr Cramp had a solid track record and would be a strong local member.
