A man is believed to have entered three separate homes south of Brisbane to touch women and a child while they were sleeping.

Queensland police believe they’ve identified a man who has been creeping into homes in the dead of night to touch sleeping women.

The first of three incidents occurred on April 1 in the Logan suburb of Eagleby, south of Brisbane.

A woman was asleep about 11pm when she was awoken by the man touching her on the back.

When she screamed, the man immediately ran from the house.

Five days later, in the same suburb, another woman awoke at 11pm when the man entered her bedroom and grabbed her around the throat.

He again fled when she screamed for help.

Six days later, on April 12, the man entered an address on Monmouth Street.

A girl was sleeping about 4am when a man entered her bedroom and touched her arm.

He fled when the child awoke.

The man has been described as Caucasian, slim, and about 170cm tall with short light hair.
