WA wicketkeeper Tom Triffitt will front court on March 7 on stealing and wilful damage charges after being arrested by Queensland police.

Warriors wicket-keeper Tom Triffitt faces an uncertain future after being arrested by Queensland police.

Triffitt was charged with two counts of stealing and one count of wilful damage over an early-morning incident on Wednesday that also involved 23-year-old teammate Tim Armstrong.

Armstrong wasn’t charged by police, but the pair have been stood down from Western Australia’s Futures League match against Queensland.

Triffitt, 23, is due to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 7.

“WACA Management will meet with both players before determining an appropriate course of action,” the WACA said in a statement.
