Police are looking for two armed robbers who stole cash from a Brisbane hotel in a violent hold-up.
Hooded bandits wielding lumber and a knife have held up a hotel in an inner suburb of Brisbane.
The armed thieves entered the hotel on Southgate Avenue at Cannon Hill about 10.15pm (AEDT) on Tuesday, police say.
The robber with the knife vaulted the bar and threatened staff, before demanding cash and forcing them into the office area.
The other thief threatened two patrons, striking one with the piece of wood, and forced them into another part of the pub.
The thieves then stole cash, before making off in a dark coloured car.
They were last seen headed north on Southgate Avenue.
The only person injured was a patron who received a minor injury to his ankle.
Both thieves were wearing hoodies during the incident.
One of them is described as thin with a dark complexion.
