BXB – BRAMBLES – down four cents, or 0.42 per cent, at $9.38

The Federal Court of Australia has approved a scheme of arrangement for the split of Brambles’ pallets and documents management businesses.

FLT – FLIGHT CENTRE – down 1.42 cents, or 2.99 per cent at $46.00

Flight Centre shares have fallen six per cent after the consumer watchdog won a price fixing case against it in the federal court.

NEC – NINE ENTERTAINMENT – down seven cents, or 3.41 per cent, at $1.98

One of the year’s most anticipated public offerings, Nine Entertainment Co, has made a lacklustre debut on the Australian stock market.

QAN – QANTAS AIRWAYS – down four cents, or 3.74 per cent, at $1.03

Ratings agency Standard and Poor’s has lowered its credit rating for airline Qantas to BB+, which is considered below investment grade.

QBE – QBE INSURANCE – in trading halt, last traded at $15.45

The shares of QBE Insurance Group have been placed in a trading halt at the request of the company, pending the release of an announcement.
