ALL – ARISTOCRAT LEISURE – down 14 cents, or 2.9 per cent, at $4.63

Gaming machine maker Aristocrat Leisure has lifted its full year profit almost 17 per cent despite a slide in revenue.

ANN – ANSELL – in a trading halt, last traded at $19.46

Gloves, condoms and protective clothing supplier Ansell has boosted its position in the North American market, paying $US615 million for protective gloves and boots business BarrierSafe Solutions International.

BKW – BRICKWORKS – up 28 cents, or 2.1 per cent, at $13.80

Building products maker Brickworks expects a better 2014 as housing construction recovers, boosting orders for materials.

HVN – HARVEY NORMAN – up seven cents, or 2.2 per cent, at $3.29

Retailer Harvey Norman says a rise in consumer confidence since the federal election has not provided a boost in its sales.

RIO – RIO TINTO – down 36 cents, or 0.55 per cent, at $65.04

Mining giant Rio Tinto is reviewing the status of its alumina refinery at Gove in the Northern Territory, putting the future of up to 1500 workers at risk.

WOW – WOOLWORTHS – up 12 cents, or 0.35 per cent, at $34.08

Woolworths chairman Ralph Waters has expressed his frustration with “impatient” investors who have complained about losses on the Masters home improvement business.
