Suki hosted a private VIP launch for 150 people last week at South Bank with partygoers being treated to Brisbane’s hottest new food trend, poké bowls.

Meaning to section, cut or slice, and pronounced ‘Po-keh’, Poké is traditionally known as a fish salad originating from the Aloha state.

Owners Eddie Isk and Leon McNiece (Ole Restaurant, Mucho Mexicano) have another hit on their hands with Suki which has been in the work for over 18 months.

At the event, guests were also treated to beats and bubbles along with Suki’s signature sushi burritos and ramen from RAMEN on Grey (located next door).

Suki and RAMEN will be opening to the public this week.

Suki (182 Grey Street, South Brisbane) will be open from 11am to 9pm, seven days a week.
