A buzzing Thursday night down at Hatch & Co at Newstead’s Gasworks was a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a relaxed, mid-week dinner. Our meal at Hatch & Co started with homemade sourdough with whipped brown butter and smoked salt – a sure way to stimulate the appetite! Our small group opted for a shared dinner of pizza, gnocchi and the burrata salad, all washed down with a bottle of Spanish red. Our very attentive waiter made sure we were well looked after and had a fabulous, no-fuss experience. I’m looking forward to heading back to try one of the share plates soon!

Hatch & Co. offers its guests a relaxed bar and dining experience, located amongst Newstead’s stylish restaurant and retail offerings in the redeveloped Gasworks Plaza.

Hatch & Co. boasts a welcoming atmosphere, with diners able to enjoy the Brisbane sunshine and river breezes from the alfresco dining area with a view of the precinct’s heritage listed gasometer. The light and spacious décor combines an open kitchen, contemporary blonde wood furniture and walls of greenery to seamlessly connect the restaurant’s indoor and outdoor dining spaces.

Hatch & Co is well worth a visit!
