If you think our shrapnel is in need of a facelift, you’ll love these new designs from Aussie illustrator Aaron Tyler.

Following up last year’s successful ‘Straya Cash, which saw Tyler reimagine Aussie banknotes with the likes of John Farnham, Karl Stefanovic and Alf Stewart, ‘Straya Shrapnel sees Tyler replacing kangaroos and royals with the likes of AC/DC and Adam Goodes.

Get a load of his new designs, which I think we can all agree are way better than echidnas and emus:

Aaron Tyler, you are a true Aussie legend, and it’ll be a tragedy if your bold ideas aren’t embraced by the Government soon. Either way, this Australia Day, we salute you.
