Melbourne has been given planning approval for the construction of a new curvy 68-story tower, but unlike any other skyscraper, it’s inspired by Beyoncé’s curves.

Set to be built in Spencer Street, the Premier Tower will look as if its twisted and bendy and feature 660 apartments, a 160-room hotel and a number of retail stores.

Architect Elenberg Fraser reportedly designed the tower with Beyoncé’s video clip Ghost in mind.

Apparently, the spiralling curves of the building “recall the twists and turns of a woman dancing in black cloth”, but are also the most effective way to redistribute the building’s mass, giving “the best results in terms of structural dispersion, frequency oscillation and wind requirements”. Sure, buddy.

There is no time frame yet as to when the tower will be completed, but whenever it is, it’s not soon enough.
