If you were a ’90s kid in Australia, there’s a good chance you began most of your mornings with a bowl of cereal and a dose of Cheez TV.

The smiling faces of Jade Gatt and Ryan Lappin were a staple of Australian households from 1995 to 2004, and now, like everything else from the ’90s, they’re enjoying a nostalgic resurgence.

They’ve created an ‘official’ Cheez TV Facebook page where they’ve been uploading old videos of the show, and they’ve also been in demand for live appearances. Now they’re bringing their ’90s revival tour to Brisbane.

The larrikin duo are the latest additions to the Supanova Pop Culture Expo, which will weave its magic in Brisbane in November.

The other new additions to the bill include Charmed and Pretty Little Liars star Holly Marie Combs, Merlin heartthrob Eoin Macken, geek songstress Meri Amber, and symphonic rock band Critical Hit, who’ll be paying tribute to video game soundtracks with an electrifying live concert.

They join previously announced stars Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle), Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars), Jason Mewes (Jay & Silent Bob), Ricky Whittle (American Gods), Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad), Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who), Claudia Wells (Back to the Future), Ian Bohen (Teen Wolf), Veronica Taylor (Pokemon), John DiMaggio (Adventure Time), Billy West (Futurama), Steve Blum (Star Wars Rebels) and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Naruto).

The Supanova Pop Culture Expo will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 11-13 November. For more information and tickets, visit supanova.com.au.
