Alt-rock superstars Garbage will headline an epic line-up at Sirromet Wines’ next concert event.

Garbage — made up of Shirley Manson, Steve Marker, Duke Erikson and Butch Vig — have sold 12 million albums worldwide, performed in over 35 countries, and continue to perform sold out shows across the globe more than two decades after their formation.

These will be Garbage’s first Australian shows since 2013.

They’ll be celebrating the release of their sixth studio album, Strange Little Birds, which debuted at #9 on the ARIA album chart in June.

Australia’s own multi-platinum chart toppers The Temper Trap will also be on the bill, playing their first shows since the release of their third album, Thick As Thieves, which became their second LP to debut atop the ARIA album chart.

The stellar under-card will feature ARIA nominees The Preatures, 20-year-old Melbourne phenom Tash Sultana, and indie rock icon Adalita.

The five-band bill will play Sirromet Wines (Mt Cotton) on Sunday 4 December. Tickets go on sale Monday 8 August at noon via
