Adam Brand and The Outlaws, The Sunny Cowgirls, Jasmine Rae and the Adam Eckersley Band are just some of the massive country stars set to hit the Gold Coast this June for the fourth annual Broadbeach Country Music Festival.
Held from 17 to 19 June, the Broadbeach Country Music Festival combines country with coast, showcasing premier country music performers at a range of venues throughout the entire Broadbeach precinct.
Now in its fourth year, the festival is run by Broadbeach Alliance and is supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland.
Broadbeach Alliance’s CEO, Jan McCormick says it’s the perfect destination for lovers of music, entertainment and great events, and offers so much for the festival attendee.
“We are thrilled to be presenting the fourth annual Broadbeach Country Music Festival, with the event going from strength to strength and getting bigger each year,” she says.
“The third festival was an outstanding success and we think Country Music has well and truly found a new home on the Gold Coast.”
“We offer such a different experience with a high calibre of artists and you can soak up the atmosphere of this incredible free event from the balcony of your accommodation or from one of the amazing restaurants or bars.”
Jan says the Gold Coast is such a diverse city boasting iconic beaches mixed with the country hinterland.
“Broadbeach offers world-class accommodation, shopping and restaurants and there is so much to do like take in a theme park, head up to the hinterland or simply unwind watching the whales pass by and the waves roll in. The weather is fabulous in June, and promises sunny days and entertainment filled nights”
Headlining the event this year is twelve-time Golden Guitar winner, multi ARIA Award-nominee and 2015 CMC Oz Artist of the Year, Adam Brand and his band The Outlaws, and an all star line-up of Australian country music’s best-loved and most prolific names; Drew McAlister, Travis Collins, Matt Cornell and Mike Carr.
The herd of national music talent assembled for the festival will feature more than 30 incredible artists including The Sunny Cowgirls, who will be returning to the streets of Broadbeach for the first time since launching festival in 2013, with songs from their seventh album.
One of Australia’s most admired female vocalists, three-time ARIA nominated and two time CMC Music Award winner, Jasmine Rae will also be performing at the event for the first time, along with 2016 Golden Guitar winners for Best Group, the Adam Eckersley Band.
Bill Chambers, Jared Porter and Drew McAlister also feature as part of the incredible artists that have been added to this year’s already massive line-up.
Fresh from releasing his brand new album Cold Trail, Bill Chambers joins 2014 Toyota Star Maker winner Jared Porter and 2016 CMC Music Awards Oz Artist of the Year nominee, Drew McAlister delivering solo shows throughout the festival.
Added to the line-up are also the highly requested Viper Creek Band, following the success of their album Kickin up Dust, which has nabbed the band nominations for 2016 CMC Group of the Year and Oz Artist of the Year, along with brand new talent Deep Creek Road and Halfway.
