Get ready for the scariest festival to hit Brisbane.

The Horror Movie Campout will take place at Sirromet Winery, Mount Cotton (a 45 minute drive from Brisbane and the Gold Coast) on Saturday 3 September and will feature an array of horror entertainment guaranteed to keep you terrified until daybreak.

Immersive scare actors will roam the site and bands will rock out on the main stage as you test your courage braving the “death chamber” scare maze. Will you survive? Well, probably, but you can never be too sure.

As darkness falls, the massive outdoor cinema will fire up with intense short horror flicks and two headlining horror movies, as voted on by campers prior to the event.

An event ticket will grant you full access to the festival, a carpark and a camping space where you can pitch your tent or roll out your comfy swag. The site also welcomes camper vans.

But if you’re looking for a more luxurious (yet still horrifying) experience, Glamping Packages are also available in addition to event tickets. This allows up to three campers access to the VIP Glamping campground, a three person dome tent, and access to the reserved seating area in front of the main cinema screen. All you need to bring is your bedding, sleeping gear and cinema chair for a night to remember!

Horror costume attire is also strongly encouraged! This event is strictly 18+.
