Comedian Craig Robinson is on his way to Brisbane. Let’s get it poppin’.
Best known for his role as Darryl Philbin in the US version of The Office, Craig has also starred in films like This Is The End, Pineapple Express, Hot Tub Time Machine, and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.
As a voice-over artist, he’s popped up in flicks like Shrek Forever After, Escape from the Planet Earth and the upcoming Sausage Party; he’s also made appearances on TV shows like Arrested Development, Friends, Eastbound & Down, Reno 911!, The Bernie Mac Show, Key & Peele, Comedy Bang! Bang! and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
For his first Australian tour, he’ll be joined by his band, The Nasty Delicious. Not just a comedy show, it’ll be the perfect combination of stand-up and music — Robinson can play the hell out of a keyboard, and he was actually a music teacher before he turned to comedy.
Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious will play Max Watt’s House of Music (125 Boundary St, West End) on Tuesday 21 June. Tickets and meet-and-greet packages will go on sale from 9am on Tuesday 19 April at wearenice.com.au.
