Enjoy a game of Retro Pin Up Bingo at Taps The Valley this Saturday and help support Mates4Mates.
Run by Taps Australia, RetroBomb Magazine and Natalie Lorenz Photography the bingo event will celebrate all things retro from fashion and styling to lifestyle and music.
It’ll also raise much needed funds for Mates4Mates, a charity committed to providing rehabilitation programs for current and ex-serving Australian Defense Force members who are wounded, injured or ill and their families.
From 3pm on Saturday 2 April, get your lucky bingo dabbers out and get ready to play — but it’s no ordinary bingo game.
Dolled up 1940s and ’50s pin up girls will be selling bingo tickets and raffles all afternoon, as the bingo numbers will be called on the hour every hour by MC Miss Deco Doll!
Rockabilly band West Texas Crude will also be playing live from 3pm. So if you need a break from dabbing, you can have a good old boogie instead!
Raffles will be drawn throughout the afternoon with incredible prizes to be won including days out, merchandise and vouchers donated from companies like Trash Monkey, Newstead Brewery, Green Beacon and Crown Barbers.
Taps themselves have also donated a prize alongside photography packages from Natalie Lorenz and Mark Greenmantle Photography worth up to $400.
To team with the theme, Taps will also provide an extensive list of cocktails sold in vintage and retro teapots and tea cups during the event.
So why not go back in time for a game of Bingo? Sounds good to us!
Retro Pin Up Bingo will be held from 3pm on Saturday 2 April at Taps The Valley, 315 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley. For more information click here
