Event Cinemas Myer Centre will be showing all of your all-time favourite movies on the big screen this year – for their second season of ‘In The House’ Cult Film Classics.

Watching your favourite classic movies at home with a giant bowl of popcorn is great and all, but nothing quite compares to seeing your most-loved films on the big screen once again.

Thankfully, Event Cinemas is making this possible by showing a range of old-school classics from February to May.

Season 2 of Cult Film Classics will kick off on Friday 12 February with Predator, followed by a screening of the hilarious Ghostbusters on the 26th.

In March you can catch Robert De Niro in Goodfellas, then screenings of Highlander and The Princess Bride in April.

Also not to be missed is Ridley Scott’s 1982 American neo-noir sci-fi film, Blade Runner showing on Friday 29 April. It has after-all been heralded as one of the ‘films to see before you die.’

Bring back high school memories with The Breakfast Club  or if you’re more of a sci-fi fan, you can see Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan in May.

Members will receive discounts for the special event and there will even be a draw to win 3 months of free movies. Yes please!

Tickets are $12 or $10 for Cine Buzz members and can be purchased from The Event Cinemas Website or at the Event Cinemas Myer Centre Box Office. All movies will be shown at 7pm Friday nights.
