Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf the Snowman are headed to Queensland for the first time ever with Disney On Ice!

Disney On Ice presents Magical Ice Festival will open at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 23 June next year. This will be the first Disney On Ice show featuring the winter wonderland of Frozen to visit Brisbane; the show will also include characters from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Tangled and Beauty and the Beast, as well as hosts Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy.

Frozen became a cultural phenomenon when it was released in 2013, with royal sisters Elsa and Anna, snowman Olaf, rugged mountain-man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven immediately taking their place among Disney’s most beloved characters.

“In our more than 30 years of producing Disney On Ice shows, Feld Entertainment has been waiting for a film like Frozen,” says producer Nicole Feld. “The most exciting part of bringing characters like Anna and Elsa to the ice for the first time is knowing that they have a powerful and inspiring message that resonates with audiences as the sisters discover the true meaning of love.”

“We are taking a fresh new spin on how we’re presenting the Disney stories,” says producer Juliette Feld. “We are weaving together the four worlds of royal sisters Anna and Elsa, Ariel, Belle and Rapunzel as they each embark on their own epic journey.”

The show is expected to push its cast of world-class skaters to the limit with daring choreography, theatrical routines above the ice, stunning costumes and impressive set designs that continually transform throughout the production.

Tickets to the Brisbane shows start at $34.50, with additional discounts on select performances. Visit ticketek.com.au/disneyonice and DisneyOnIce.com.au for more information.
