The Royal Croquet Club is set to kick off the summer season for the first time ever in Brisbane, this Friday 6 November!

Now in its third year since launching in Adelaide in 2013, the Royal Croquet Club is a playground of music, performing arts, food, unique bars and croquet – for all ages.

Last year the event attracted more than 400,000 to its Melbourne and Adelaide Festival and now with the addition of a Brisbane event to be held in South Bank, the Club promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Co-Founder, Grant Smillie says this year The Royal Croquet Club will be an extravaganza for the senses.

“There’s a little magic around every corner, and as always, a croquet pitch right in the heart of the club,” he says.

Held over 17 days from 6-22 November, the event will feature incredible musical acts, roving performers and live entertainment, food vendors and bars, sensory experiences and heaps more.

Sydney DJ Kilter and electronic music duo Porsches will be the first headline acts on opening night (Friday 6 November), with Paces (Saturday 7 November), WAFIA (Friday 13 November), Touch Sensitive (Saturday 14 November), Motez (Sunday 15 November) and KLP (Saturday 21 November) also set to feature.

Cuisine will come from popular Brisbane restaurants and cafes Mighty Mighty, Sin Vida, The Defiant Duck, Miss Kay, Street ADL and gelati gods La Macelleria.

“We’re encouraging all to come along and lap up the amazing culinary offerings and FREE live entertainment by local, national and international artists, musicians and other performing acts,” says event director Stuart Duckworth.

The Royal Croquet Club Brisbane will run from Friday 6 November until Sunday 22 November in South Bank. For more information visit
