The most daring, death defying show on earth is coming to QPAC this summer.
From the producers of The Illusionists and Le Noir comes the heart-pounding family spectacular, Cirque Adrenaline.
Claiming to boast the world’s most dangerous and death-defying acts, Cirque Adrenaline transforms the Concert Hall, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) into a spectacular, high-octane circus arena for 10 shows only from 7 to 17 January 2016.
Each performer has been carefully selected from the best circus entertainers in the world, creating a new genre of show that blends traditional circus acts with a fresh, contemporary feel—guaranteeing to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
Cirque Adrenaline’s troupe of over 30 performers, many former stars of Cirque du Soleil, are renowned worldwide for their theatrical flair and breath-taking acrobatic displays both on the ground and high above the stage.
Acts include the famous clown and Emcee Dizzy (Darren Partridge), Daredevil motorcyclists who narrowly miss each other in the Sphere of Fear, Angelo Lyerzkysky Rodriguez and Carlos Mayorga on the Wheel of Death, trapeze artists, hair-raising fire acts, high bars and aerial silk, plus a whole host of others all promising danger and excitement.
Producer Simon Painter says Cirque Adrenaline does not stop to draw breath.
“We are beyond excited to be bringing Cirque Adrenaline to Brisbane this summer.”
“Witnessing the world’s highest, fastest and most dangerous acts in the spectacular setting of the QPAC Concert Hall will be a truly breathtaking experience.”
“With a cast of over 30 elite athletes from all four corners of the globe, we are absolutely delighted to present this roller-coaster Cirque extravaganza that is perfect entertainment for the entire family”, Mr Painter says.
Cirque Adrenaline makes its Australian premiere at QPAC for a limited season for 10 days only from 7 January 2016.
