Ever wanted to visit the Pacific Islands? Good news— they’re coming to you.

The Voice 2012 semi-finalist Fatai will be making an appearance at a colourful festival celebrating all things Indigenous and Pacific Islander that is set to take place in Redland City on Saturday 8 August.

Kicking off at 10am at the Redland Performing Art Centre, Redland City Mayor Karen Williams say it’ll be a feast for the senses with a variety of scrumptious food, entertainment, dancing and art to take in. Best of all, it’ll be kid friendly, with lots to keep the little ones happy.

“Audiences will be able to enjoy traditional and contemporary Indigenous and Pacific Islander entertainment on the outdoor Island stage, feast from selected food vendors and browse the many stalls in the craft market,” Councillor Hewlett said.

Whist entry is free for this mammoth day/night event a spot at the star studded Pacific Sound concert featuring The Voice semi-finalist Fatai, Reggae artist SWISS and more will cost you $35.

“The Saturday night ticketed event Pacific Sound is outstanding value as it features a great line-up of international, national and local profile musicians from the Indigenous and Pacific Islander musical community.”
