West Village’s revamped lawn area in Boundary Street at West End will be transformed into a fun-filled activity space for kids every Saturday morning for the next four weeks!

The free kids program at West Village launches on Saturday 13 June with fun activities for pre-schoolers including face painting, a soft play area and a balloon modeller.

The program is set to be held every Saturday from 9am until midday from 13 June until 4 July.

West Village Project Director Andrew Thompson said he expected to see scores of children taking part in the activities on the grassy space at the West End site.

“Our green lawn is becoming a popular place for relaxing and coffee catch-ups since we recently carried out landscaping and opened it up to public access from Boundary Street, so we’re expecting a great crowd on Saturday,” he said.

“The best thing for parents is that they can watch their kids having fun while enjoying brunch or a coffee on the lawn from one of the local cafes.”
