If you’re a bit of a book worm, you have to check out Lifeline Bookfest at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from 6 June to 9 June.

Lifeline Bookfest offers a vast array of second hand books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl, puzzles, board games and stationery at low prices.

Whether it’s mystery, fantasy, humour, crime, romance or sci-fi with tables and tables full of books and items, at Lifeline Bookfest you’re most likely to find it.

Lifeline Retail Manager, Roy Frith said you never know what treasures you might find.

“We often receive many rare and first edition books which are sought after from all over the world.

“If you haven’t been to one (Bookfest) before now’s the time. We invite you to come along to the June Bookfest and enjoy the experience of getting lost in the rush of finding a good story or that CD you’ve been searching for.

“We encourage customers to prepare by getting there early and wearing comfortable walking shoes,” he said.

Lifeline Bookfest had massive year last year, selling a record number of books.

“We hope this event will be the same,” Mr Frith said.

Any money raised at Lifeline Bookfest will help save lives, going to charities such as the 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line and Post Disaster recovery programs in Queensland.

Lifeline Brisbane Bookfest is on from 6 June to 9 June at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Doors are open from 8:30am to 7pm on Weekends and Monday. And, from 9:30am to 4pm on Tuesday.
