Played over four exciting rounds, The Emirates Corporate Cup commences in June and culminates in December. If you enter, you’ll be in with a chance to win the major prize of business class flights to Europe.
The Emirates Corporate Cup is a popular and rewarding golf tournament where even a terrible handicap can’t disable your chances of winning big and whether you score a birdie or not, you can still be winging your way around the world business class as a result.
If you’re a competitor, each of the four rounds also provides a chance to win two tickets to New Zealand courtesy of Emirates Airline as well daily competitions prizes.
The Brookwater Golf and Country Club is where the Championship has been played for the past eight years and the venue is again part of the tournament in 2015. Damon Selwyn, General Manager at Brookwater Golf and Country Club points out that in this particular tournament there are plenty of ways of winning even if you’re not up to par.
“Sure, everyone is out to win the tournament and that in itself makes for a great time, but having the even chance of taking home one of these really great prizes just for playing adds another fun dimension to it.”
In 2014, over 250 Golfers joined the competition and this year, the organisers are taking it up a notch by inviting corporate teams (of two players each) to take to Brookwater’s famous fairways.
“We think that by inviting businesses to take up the challenge, we will bring a bit of that business competitiveness on to the course and make the tournament even livelier,” Damon said. The Emirates Corporate Cup has become famous across the State as an excellent and entertaining opportunity for business networking as well.
Brookwater is no stranger to top competitive playing with the course not only being Queensland’s long time number one public access golf course but also the current home of the prestigious Isuzu Queensland Open.
Attention ladies, according to Damon, this year’s Emirates are keen for women to enter and compete alongside the guys.
First qualifying round commences Friday June 12 and registrations for The Emirates Corporate Cup can be completed by visiting here.
