Calling all gamers! Step away from the computer, because this May the virtual world is coming out of the web and into reality at the annual IRL Digital Festival.

This May, the Brisbane Powerhouse will be playing host to one of the largest digital festivals in the country.

The IRL or ‘In Real Life’ Digital Festival is an interactive art and gaming playground spanning from the 7-17 of May.

Witness some virtual reality experiences, laser shows, video games, electronic art, and a beat-boxer clashing with an orchestra.

Celebrate digital culture while offline and experience things like video games, laser shows and electronic art in a real hands on environment.

Bring your friends along to roam around the Powerhouse with virtual reality goggles and wireless weapons in Australia’s first wireless zombie apocalypse VR game by Zero Latency.

World renowned laser and music extravaganza RGB Laser Show by audio-visual artist Robin Fox will also be on display. After receiving rave reviews from their New York, London and Glasgow shows.

Or catch the Analogue Digital creative conference and concerts, featuring acclaimed beat-boxer Tom Thum and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in a unique combined sound.
